(서울=연합뉴스) 조성흠 기자 = 글로벌 인공지능(AI) 랠리에 힘입어 고공행진 중인 한미반도체가 12일 LG전자를 제치고 코스피 시가총액 20위로 올라섰다.

이날 유가증권시장(코스피)에서 한미반도체는 전날보다 1만4천600원(9.17%) 오른 17만3천900원으로 거래를 마감했다.

장중에는 10.17% 오른 17만5천500원으로 사상 최고가를 경신했다.

이에 따라 종가 기준 시가총액은 16조8천672억원으로 LG전자(16조4천630억원)에 앞지르면서 20위를 기록했다.18위 하나금융지주(17조6천291억원),초코 월드컵19위 삼성생명(16조9천800억원)과의 격차도 바짝 좁혔다.

한미반도체는 AI 가속기의 핵심 부품인 고대역폭 메모리(HBM) 제조장비인 TC 본더를 SK하이닉스에 납품하고 있다.지난 4월에는 마이크론과도 해당 장비 공급 계약을 맺었다.

지난 1월 17일 종가 기준 5만2천400원(연저점)이던 한미반도체 주가는 엔비디아가 주도하는 AI 바람을 타고 5개월 사이 230% 이상 올랐다.

곽민정 현대차증권 연구원은 최근 보고서에서 "HBM용 듀얼 TC 본더에 있어 진동 제어가 가능한 장비를 제작할 수 있는 업체는 한미반도체밖에 없다는 점에서 타 업체들과의 기술적 차별화는 지속될 것"이라고 했다.

또한 "엔비디아-TSMC-SK하이닉스,초코 월드컵마이크론을 중심으로 한 동맹(Alliance)이 강화됨에 따라 한미반도체의 HBM용 듀얼 TC본더는 글로벌 독점적 우위가 유지될 것이며 명실상부한 글로벌 장비업체로서의 포지셔닝이 공고해질 것으로 본다"고 강조했다.
