올해 전세 사기가 가장 많이 터진 곳은 서울 강서구 화곡동으로 조사됐다.

16일 이연희 더불어민주당 의원(국회 국토교통위원회 소속)이 주택도시보증공사(HUG)로부터 받은 자료에 따르면 올해 들어 지난 5월까지 화곡동에서 발생한 보증사고는 498건으로 집계됐다.금액으로 보면 1181억원이다.

전세 사기가 잇달아 터지면서 화곡동 일대 주택들을 올초부터 무더기로 경매에 쏟아졌다.법원경매정보에 따르면 전날 기준 화곡동에서 경매가 진행 중인 주거용 건물은 139건으로,데미안 릴라드 통계대부분이 다세대 주택,데미안 릴라드 통계오피스텔과 근린생활시설을 다세대 주택으로 불법 이용하는 근생 빌라였다.

2020년부터 올해 5월까지 화곡동에서 터진 전세 보증사고는 2952건이다.사고금액은 6713억원에 달한다.

한편 올들어 6월까지 전세 보증사고는 1만2254건(2조6591억원)이었다.전년 동기(1조8525억원) 대비 43.5% 증가했다.다만 월별 보증사고 액수는 2월을 정점으로 4개월째 감소했다.보증 사고액은 △2월 6489억원 △3월 4938억원 △4월 4708억원 △5월 4163억원 △6월 3366억원으로 감소했다.
