[헤럴드경제=김현일 기자] LG전자가 집중 호우로 침수 피해를 입은 지역 수재민을 위한 피해 복구에 나섰다.

LG전자는 지난 9일 경상북도 영양군을 시작으로 전라북도 완주군 운주면,도톤보리 맛집충청남도 논산시 강경읍에 긴급 수해 서비스 거점을 마련하고 가전 제품 무상 점검 및 수리 서비스를 지원하고 있다고 12일 밝혔다.

현장에 파견된 서비스 매니저들은 제품 및 제조사 관계 없이 침수 제품을 점검하고,도톤보리 맛집장비를 갖춘 수해 서비스 대응 차량을 동원해 세척·수리·부품 교체 등을 지원하고 있다.

일부 지역에서는 서비스 매니저가 피해 가구를 직접 방문하는‘찾아가는 서비스’도 함께 진행해 고객 불편을 최소화하는 데 총력을 기울이고 있다.

침수 제품을 임의로 분해하거나 완전히 건조하지 않은 채 사용할 경우 제품 파손이나 감전 등의 위험이 있어 이를 방지하기 위해 유의사항도 적극 알리고 있다.

LG전자는 향후 피해가 확산되면 서비스 지역을 확대 운영할 계획이다.이번 집중호우로 가전 제품 침수 피해를 겪은 고객들은 LG전자 고객센터로 접수하거나 서비스 센터를 방문하면 동일한 서비스를 지원받을 수 있다.

정연채 LG전자 고객가치혁신부문장은 “이번 가전제품 점검 및 수리 서비스 지원이 수해로 고통 받는 고객들께 조금이나마 힘이 되길 바란다”며 “수해 상황을 지속적으로 살피며 실질적인 도움이 되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
