문화체육관광부와 우즈베키스탄 문화부는 지난 14일 '문화 협력 의향서'를 체결했다.문화를 매개로 양국 간 우호 관계를 증진하는 내용이다.▲박물관,도서관 등 문화기관과 예술 분야 전문가의 상호 교류·협력 ▲양국에서 개최가 예정된 문화행사에 상호 참여 ▲스포츠 기관 간 협력 등 문화 분야 전반의 교류 확대 의지가 담겨 있다.

유인촌 문체부 장관은 "양국 국민 간 친밀감이 모두 높아지는 기점이 될 것"이라며 "이를 계기로 중앙아시아에 'K-컬처'가 확산하고,제주 세븐스타 카지노한국과 우즈베키스탄이 한층 밀접한 관계로 발전하길 기대한다"고 말했다.

문체부는 향후 우즈베키스탄과의 문화 교류를 적극적으로 추진한다.선봉에는 국립아시아문화전당이 나선다.내년에 실크로드의 과거와 미래를 조명하는 기획 전시를 개최하고,제주 세븐스타 카지노우즈베키스탄이 참여하는 '아시아 스토리텔링 위원회'를 운영해 현지 이야기를 발굴·소개한다.

우즈베키스탄에 있는 세종학당 일곱 곳은 한국문화 전문가가 진행하는 '세종문화 아카데미'를 확대 운영한다.체육 분야에서는 오는 9월 우즈베키스탄 태권도 대회 개최를 지원하고,개도국 국가대표 초청 합동훈련(펜싱)을 실시한다.

관광 교류도 확대한다.지난 3월 신설된 한국관광공사 우즈베키스탄 타슈켄트 홍보지점을 중심으로 의료관광과 교육 여행 활성화를 지원한다.더불어 오는 11월 타슈켄트 국제관광박람회 한국관을 운영해 방한 관광 홍보를 강화한다.
