근무하고 있는 장례식장에서 8년간 23억 원을 횡령한 경리 직원에게 실형이 선고됐다.

17일 대전지법 천안지원 제1형사부(재판장 전경호)는 특정경제범죄 가중처벌 등에 관한 법률 위반(횡령) 혐의로 구속 기소된 A씨(55·여)에게 징역 4년을 선고했다.

아산의 한 장례식장에서 경리 직원으로 근무하던 A씨는 지난 2015년 5월부터 2023년 8월까지 4700여 차례에 걸쳐 23억여 원을 횡령한 혐의로 재판에 넘겨졌다.

A 씨는 횡령한 돈으로 보험에 가입하거나 부동산을 구입했으며 범행이 드러난 뒤 4억 원을 반환했다.

재판부는 "규모가 크지 않은 피해 회사는 범행으로 인해 막대한 자금 사정에 악영향을 받은 것으로 보이고,쉐바원피스대부분의 피해가 회복되지 않고 있다"며 "범행을 인정하고 잘못을 반성하는 점 등을 고려해 형을 정했다"고 양형 이유를 설명했다.
