(대전=연합뉴스) 김준범 기자 = 현직 대전시의회 남성 시의원이 총선 후보 캠프에서 근무하던 여성 직원을 성추행했다는 주장이 제기돼 경찰이 수사에 나섰다.

2일 대전 대덕경찰서 등에 따르면 국민의힘 소속 대전시의회 A 의원이 지난 2월 여직원을 여러 차례 성추행했다는 내용의 신고가 전날 경찰에 접수됐다.

피해자는 A 의원이 자신의 신체 일부를 만지고 손을 잡는 등의 부적절한 신체접촉을 했다며 고소장을 제출한 것으로 알려졌다.

A 의원은 지난해에도 시의회 직원을 성희롱해 국민의힘 대전시당으로부터 당원권 정지 1개월의 징계를 받았다.

국민의힘 대전시당은 이날 오전 10시 윤리위원회를 열고 A 의원에 대한 징계 절차를 시작했다.

국민의힘 관계자는 "앞으로 A 의원의 소명을 듣는 등 절차를 거쳐 징계 수위를 정할 계획"이라고 말했다.
