이에 따라 기존 회원들은 다음달 7일부터 개인별 결제 주기에 따라 순차적으로 변경된 월회비가 적용될 예정이다.

쿠팡은 9일 기존 와우 회원들이 요금 변경에 대한 동의 의사를 재차 확인할 수 있도록 하는 기능을 새롭게 적용했다고 뉴스룸을 통해 밝혔다.

앞서 쿠팡은 지난 4월 멤버십 요금 변경 소식을 최초로 공지했다.이후 수개월간 ▲이메일 ▲ 홈페이지 팝업 ▲고객 게시판 등 다양한 채널을 통해 와우 회원들에게 와우 멤버십 월회비 변경 사실을 지속적으로 안내해왔다고 설명했다.

이에 더해 최근 소비자 선택권을 더욱 충실히 보장하기 위해,야구 카메라고객들이 요금 변경에 대한 동의 의사를 재차 확인할 수 있도록 하는 기능을 새롭게 적용했다고 부연했다.

다음달 6일까지 앞으로 4주 간 기존 회원들은 해당 기능을 통해 와우 멤버십 요금 변경 의사를 보다 쉽게 확인 가능하다.동의 의사 확인을 원하는 회원들은 ▲구매완료 페이지 ▲마이쿠팡의 와우 멤버십 페이지를 통해 볼 수 있다.
