현대차 노사는 이날 울산공장 본관에서 '2024년 임금협상 조인식'을 열었다.조인식에는 이동석 현대차 대표이사 사장과 문용문 전국민주노동조합총연맹(민주노총) 전국금속노동조합(금속노조) 현대차지부 지부장 등 노사 교섭대표가 참석했다.6년 연속 무분규 타결 기록을 세웠다.

현대차 노사는 지난 8일 11차 교섭에서 기본급 4.65% 인상(11만2000원·호봉승급분 포함)과 성과급 500%+1800만원,카지노 놀이터주식 25주 지급 등 내용이 담긴 잠정합의안을 마련했다.2026년까지 기술직 800명을 추가 채용하고 특별사회공헌기금 15억원 조성 등도 합의했다.

쟁점이었던 정년 연장과 관련해서는 노사가 참여한 정년 연장 태스크포스(TFT)를 꾸려 내년 상반기까지 논의를 이어가기로 했다.기술 숙련자 재고용 제도(촉탁계약직) 기간을 기존 최대 1년에서 2년으로 연장하기로 합의해 정년 연장 효과가 있다는 평가도 있다.

금속노조 현대차지부는 지난 12일 조합원 찬반 투표에서 투표자 대비 58.93% 찬성으로 가결했다.

한편 현대차그룹 부품 계열사 모트라스 노조는 오는 16일부터 파업을 예고한 상태다.현대차는 울산 1~5공장 라인을 일정 시간 멈출 가능성이 있다.기아 노사는 오는 16일 3차 실무교섭을 진행한다.
