국내 전선업계 1위인 LS전선의 해저 케이블 기술 유출 의혹을 수사 중인 경찰이 경쟁업체인 대한전선에 대해 최근 압수수색을 벌였습니다.

오늘(13일) 전선업계 등에 따르면 경기남부경찰청 산업기술안보수사대는 최근 대한전선 본사 사무실 등에 대해 압수수색을 했습니다.

경찰은 압수수색을 통해 확보한 내부 서류 등을 토대로 LS전선의 해저 케이블 기술이 실제 대한전선에 유출됐는지 등에 대해 살펴볼 방침입니다.

앞서 경찰은 부정경쟁방지법 위반 등 혐의로 대한전선 및 건축 설계업체인 A사 관계자 등을 형사 입건해 조사해왔습니다.

경찰은 A사가 과거 LS전선의 케이블 공장 건설을 맡았던 시기 LS전선이 갖고 있던 고전압 해저 케이블 기술과 관련한 정보를 얻어 이를 대한전선에 빼돌렸다는 의혹에 대해 수사 중입니다.

고전압 해저 케이블 기술은 중저압 케이블에 비해 작동 속도와 내구성이 우수해 해상풍력 발전의 고부가 가치 기술로 평가받습니다.

경찰 관계자는 "수사 중인 사안에 대해서는 자세한 내용을 확인해줄 수 없다"고 말했습니다.
