종합부동산세 분납 신청자 7만명으로 폭증

(서울=연합뉴스) 김치연 기자 = 지난해 납세자들이 종합부동산세를 부당하게 냈다며 환급을 요구한 경정청구 건수가 지난 2005년 종부세 도입 이후 처음으로 6천300건을 넘었다.

24일 국민의힘 김상훈 의원이 국세청으로부터 받은 자료에 따르면 지난해 종부세 경정청구 건수는 6천302건으로 집계됐다.이는 전년 대비 267% 늘어난 것이다.이 중 4천583건은 인용됐다.

경정청구는 세금 과·오납 등으로 납세자가 세무 당국에 환급을 요구하는 세정 절차를 뜻한다.

종부세 경정청구 건수는 2018년 494건에 불과했으나 2019년 921건,금융 블록 체인2020년 827건,금융 블록 체인2021년 1천481건,금융 블록 체인2022년 1천718건으로 늘었다.

이는 문재인 정부 들어 집값이 크게 상승한 탓에 종부세 납부 규모가 늘면서 경정청구 건수도 덩달아 늘어난 것으로 분석된다.

주택분 종부세 고지 인원 규모는 문재인 정부 첫해였던 2017년 33만2천명에서 2018년 39만3천명·2019년 51만7천명·2020년 66만5천명·2021년 93만1천명으로 가파르게 늘었다.

김 의원은 "종부세 경정청구는 납부 기한으로부터 5년 동안 할 수 있기 때문에 지난 정부에서 종부세를 부과받은 납부자들이 이번 정부 들어 경정청구를 하면서 건수가 늘어난 것으로 보인다"고 말했다.
