자회사의 시장 퇴출을 막기 위해 본사 인력을 부당 지원한 혐의를 받는 롯데칠성음요락 벌금 1억 원을 선고받았습니다.

서울중앙지법 형사5단독(판사 박병곤)은 오늘(25일) 오후,챔피언스리그 8강 2차전독점규제 및 공정거래에 관한 법률 위반으로 재판에 넘겨진 롯데칠성음료에 대해 벌금 1억 원을 선고했습니다.

법원은 “롯데칠성음료가 와인 자회사에 대해 인력을 지원한 행위는 다른 회사에 비교해 현저히 유리한 조건으로 진행됐다”면서 “이는 공정거래법에서 금지한 행위에 해당한다”고 판단했습니다.

롯데칠성음료는 자회사 MJA와인에 자사 직원 26명을 보내 회계 처리와 매장 관리 등을 대신하게 해 부당지원한 혐의로 2022년 12월 약식기소됐습니다.

검찰은 MJA와인은 직원 2~3명만 고용하고 나머지 업무는 롯데칠성음료 직원들이 수행한 것으로 조사했습니다.

법원은 지난해 3월,챔피언스리그 8강 2차전벌금 1억 원의 약식 명령을 내렸지만,롯데칠성음료가 불복해 정식 재판을 청구했습니다.
