경기도는 국토교통부의‘특화 공공임대주택 공모사업’청년특화주택 유형에 ▲ 의정부 우체국복합 ▲ 서안양 우체국복합 ▲ 광명 소화 등 3개 사업이 선정됐다고 16일 밝혔다.

청년특화주택은 청년층의 주거 안정을 위해 역세권 등 우수한 입지에 공급하는 임대주택이다.미혼 청년과 대학생 1~2인 가구를 주요 대상으로 한다.

의정부 우체국복합과 서안양 우체국복합 청년특화주택은 경기주택도시공사(GH)가 시행하며 262가구,월드컵 반응200가구 규모로 각각 들어선다.

기존 우체국 청사를 19층 복합건물로 새로 지어 저층부는 우체국,월드컵 반응고층부는 청년특화주택으로 활용할 예정이다.

광명소하 청년특화주택은 광명도시공사가 시행하며 112가구 규모다.공영주차장에 10층 규모 청년특화주택을 조성할 계획이다.

경기도는 2026~2027년 착공해 2029년 말 입주를 목표로 청년특화주택사업을 진행할 예정이다.
