비트코인은 이날 5만8천 달러대에서 움직이다가 트럼프 전 대통령이 총격당했다는 소식에 순식간에 5만9천 달러대로 뛰어올랐고 이후 상승 폭을 확대하며 6만 달러선을 탈환했습니다.

비트코인이 6만 달러선에 오른 것은 지난 3일 이후 11일 만입니다.

블룸버그 통신은 "트럼프 전 대통령 유세에서 총격 사건이 발생한 후 비트코인이 상승세를 보이고 있으며,러시아암호화폐이번 사건으로 트럼프의 대선 승리 가능성이 높아질 것이라는 추측이 나오고 있다"라고 전했습니다.

다양한 이벤트에 대한 예측 베팅 사이트인 폴리마켓에 따르면 이날 사건 직후 트럼프 전 대통령의 당선 가능성은 60%에서 70%까지 크게 높아졌습니다.

가상자산 업계에서는 공화당 대선 후보인 트럼프 전 대통령이 바이든 대통령보다 가상화폐 산업에 우호적이라고 보고 있습니다.
