(워싱턴=연합뉴스) 조준형 특파원 = 마이크 존슨 미국 연방 하원의장(공화·루이지애나)은 러시아에 물자를 제공하는 중국 기업 등에 대한 제재 입법에 나설 것이라고 밝혔다.

'친(親) 트럼프' 성향인 존슨 의장은 8일(현지시간) 미국 보수 성향 싱크탱크 허드슨연구소에서 행한 연설에서 "우리는 중국과 이란에 물자를 제공하는 중국 군사 기업에 벌을 줄 '제재 패키지'를 만들 것"이라고 말했다.

존슨 의장은 의원들이 중국에 맞서기 위한 모든 가용한 수단을 사용해야 한다면서 "우리는 중국으로 가는 투자를 제한하는 옵션들도 고려할 것"이라고 부연했다.

아울러 차기 행정부가 출범과 동시에 적성 국가의 경제에 타격을 줄 수 있도록 하는 일련의 법안에 대해서도 표결에 나설 것이라고 존슨 의장은 덧붙였다.

지난달 말 대선후보 TV토론을 계기로 조 바이든 대통령의 건강 및 인지력 논란이 커지면서 공화당 대선후보인 도널드 트럼프 전 대통령이 기세를 올리게 된 가운데,홍콩크루즈배팅 30단계존슨 의장은 트럼프 재집권 시 행정부에 대중국 견제의 '칼'을 쥐여 주는 입법 구상을 밝힌 것으로 풀이된다.
