30여 명의 사망자를 낸 러시아의 우크라이나 어린이병원 등 공습과 관련해 유엔 안전보장이사회가 오는 9일(미 동부시간) 긴급회의를 연다고 AFP통신이 8일(현지시간) 보도했습니다.

보도에 따르면 안보리는 이번 회의에서 러시아 측 공격에 따른 민간인 피해 등 문제를 다룰 예정입니다.

이번 회의는 영국,스트라코샤프랑스,에콰도르,슬로베니아,미국의 요청으로 소집됐습니다.

바버라 우드워드 주유엔 영국 대사는 "우리는 러시아의 비겁하고 타락한 병원 공격을 규탄할 것"이라고 강조했다고 AFP는 전했습니다.

앞서 볼로디미르 젤렌스키 우크라이나 대통령은 엑스(X·옛 트위터)에 올린 글에서 러시아군이 미사일 40여 발을 발사해 키이우·드니프로·크리비리흐·슬로비안스크·크라마토르스크 등 여러 도시의 아파트와 인프라 등이 피해를 봤다고 밝혔습니다.

젤렌스키 대통령은 키이우에 있는 어린이병원도 폭격을 당해,스트라코샤사람들이 무너진 건물 잔해에 매몰됐다고 덧붙였습니다.

AP통신은 우크라이나 당국자들을 인용해 이날 공습으로 최소 31명이 숨지고 154명이 다쳤다고 보도했습니다.
