[헤럴드경제=배문숙 기자]국세청은 부가가치세 확정 신고 기간을 맞아 세무당국을 사칭한 해킹 메일이 유포되고 있다며 30일 주의를 당부했다.

사칭 메일은 '부가가치세 수정신고 안내',한갱 이상형 월드컵'탈세제보 신고에 따른 소명자료 제출 요청 안내' 등 제목으로 호기심을 유발하거나 심리적으로 부담을 주는 경우가 많다.

메일 주소도 국세청 도메인(@nts.go.kr)으로 조작된 경우가 많아 구별이 쉽지 않다고 국세청은 설명했다.사칭 메일의 첨부파일을 클릭하면 악성코드에 감염돼 컴퓨터나 휴대전화의 각종 정보가 빠져나갈 수 있다.포털사이트로 위장한 화면으로 유인해 계정 정보를 탈취해가기도 한다.

국세청은 수정신고나 탈세제보,한갱 이상형 월드컵세무조사와 관련해 납세자에게 메일을 보내지 않는다며 사칭 메일은 열람하지 말고 삭제해야 한다고 조언했다.

불명확한 주소의 발신 링크나 첨부파일은 클릭하지 말고 네이버·카카오 등으로 로그인하라는 요구도 무시하는 것이 좋다.세무당국은 메일을 통해 계정 정보를 요구하지 않는다는 것이 국세청의 설명이다.

국세청 측은 "다양한 사례를 통해 해킹메일 대응 방안을 지속해 홍보하는 등 납세자 피해 예방을 위해 적극 노력할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
