'사각사각 페이스쿨' 시니어클래스는 카카오페이가 카카오임팩트·시니어금융교육협의회와 함께 디지털 문법에 익숙하지 않아 새로운 금융 서비스 이용이 어려운 50대 이상 고령층을 위해 교육을 지원하는 상생 프로그램이다.지난해 11월 5060세대를 대상으로 한 달간 시범운영한 '모두를 위한 디지털 금융교육'을 바탕으로 개발됐으며,올해부터는 강사양성과정과 정규교육과정으로 확대 운영하고 있다.

'사각사각 페이스쿨' 시니어클래스의 정규교육과정을 이끄는 '페이티처'는 8주 간의 강사양성과정을 수료하고 강의시연평가를 거쳐 선발됐다.카카오페이는 지난 4월 시니어 일자리 창출을 위해 50대 이상 중장년층을 대상으로 강사양성과정을 운영했으며,서울지역 50플러스센터 및 분당노인종합복지관 등 13개 센터에서 266명에게 교육을 제공하고 그 중 지역별 4인씩 총 52명을 페이티처 1기로 선발했다.

페이티처는 오는 18일부터 두 달간 지역사회복지기관 25곳 이상과 연계해 '사각사각 페이스쿨' 시니어클래스 정규교육과정 및 소그룹 교육에 출강하며 본격적인 활동을 시작한다.
