인공지능(AI) 칩 선두 주자 엔비디아가 시가총액 3조 달러에 진입,25대 kbo 총재애플을 제치고 시총 2위 자리를 차지했다.

5일(현지시간) 뉴욕 증시에서 엔비디아 주가는 전날보다 5.16% 급등한 1천224.40달러(약 168만원)에 거래를 마쳤다.

3거래일 연속 상승 마감한 엔비디아 주가는 지난달 23일 1천 달러를 처음 넘어선 이후로도 약 25% 올랐다.

시가총액도 3조110억 달러로 불어나며 3조 달러를 넘어섰다.애플과 마이크로소프트(MS)에 이어 역대 3번째다.

시총 1위 MS(3조1천510억 달러)와의 격차는 1천400억 달러.

반면 오는 10일 'AI 발표'를 앞둔 애플 주가는 작년 12월 이후 처음 시총 3조 달러(3조30억 달러)를 회복했지만,25대 kbo 총재시총 2위 자리를 내주며 빛이 바랬다.

엔비디아는 지난해 6월 시총 1조 달러를 넘어선 데 이어 8개월 만인 지난 2월 2조 달러를 돌파했다.그리고 불과 4개월 만에 다시 3조 달러를 넘었다.

10일부터 10분의 1 액면 분할이 시행되면서 개미들을 중심으로 투자자들이 몰리고 있는 것으로 분석된다.

또 지난 2일 대만에서 열린 테크 엑스포 '컴퓨텍스 2024' 개막 전날 발표한 차세대 그래픽처리장치(GPU) '루빈'(Rubin)이 주가를 끌어올리고 있다.
