(구미=뉴스1) 정우용 기자 = 구자근 국민의힘 의원(구미시갑)은 공동주택 주차장 등에서 전기차 전용 주차구역과 충전시설을 설치하는 경우,슬기 옷정보수조와 소방설비 등을 함께 설치하도록 하는 환경친화적 자동차의 개발 및 보급 촉진에 관한 법률 일부 개정안을 대표발의 했다고 13일 밝혔다.

현행법은 환경친화적 자동차의 보급을 촉진한다는 목적으로 공동주택 등 대통령령으로 정하는 대상 시설에 전용 주차구역과 충전시설을 의무적으로 설치하도록 규정하고 있다.

공동주택의 주차장은 지하에 있는 경우가 많은데,슬기 옷정보소방차량 진입이 어려워 화재 시 큰 피해가 발생할 수도 있다는 지적이 제기되어 왔다.

구 의원이 소방청으로부터 제출받은 '최근 5년간 전기차 화재 현황'에 따르면,슬기 옷정보2019년 7건에서 2023년 72건으로 5년 만에 10배 이상 폭증했으며 화재 장소에서도 지하 주차장이 차지하는 비율이 높아지고 있는 상황이다.

구 의원은 "소방차량 진입이 어려운 주차장에는 최소한의 소방설비를 구축해 유사시에도 국민의 안전과 재산을 보호할 수 있도록 해야한다"고 말했다.
