셀트리온은 글로벌 임상 3상 결과를 바탕으로 MHRA에 옴리클로의 품목허가를 신청해 알레르기성 천식,카지노 프로모션비용종을 동반한 만성비부비동염,카지노 프로모션만성 특발성 두드러기 적응증에 대한 허가를 획득했다.

임상은 유럽 6개국에서 만성 특발성 두드러기 환자 619명을 대상으로 진행됐다.그 결과,카지노 프로모션오리지널 의약품 대비 옴리클로의 유효성과 동등성이 입증됐고,카지노 프로모션안정성에서도 유사성이 확인됐다.

옴리클로는 지난 5월 유럽의약품청(EMA)을 거쳐 지난달 식품의약품안전처(식약처)로부터 차례대로 승인받은 바 있다.이번 MHRA의 허가로 셀트리온은 영국에서 첫 번째 졸레어 바이오시밀러 퍼스트무버(First mover)지위를 추가하게 됐다.현재 미국에서도 허가 심사가 진행 중이다.
