[서울=뉴시스]박선정 기자 = 서울 서초구 대검찰청에 폭탄을 설치하겠다고 협박 글을 올린 20대 대학생이 검거됐다.

25일 뉴시스 취재에 따르면 충남경찰청은 협박 및 위계에 의한 공무집행방해 혐의를 받는 20대 남성 A씨를 검거해 조사하고 있다.

A씨는 지난달 17일 오후 한 인터넷 대학교 커뮤니티에 "토요일(5월18일) 대검찰청에 폭탄을 설치하겠다"는 협박성 글을 게시한 혐의를 받는다.

경찰은 글 작성자를 추적하는 한편 대검 청사에 경호 인력을 배치해 돌발 상황에 대비했다.

경찰은 IP 추적 등을 통해 작성자를 특정한 후 지난 3일 피의자 A씨를 검거했다.

A씨는 해당 사이트에 접속한 적은 있지만 협박 글을 게시하지는 않았다며 혐의를 전면 부인하고 있는 것으로 전해졌다.

경찰은 수집한 증거들을 종합해 사건을 조만간 검찰에 송치할 계획이다.

경찰 관계자는 "최근 인터넷을 통해 테러 협박 글을 게시하는 사건이 자주 발생하면서 시민들의 불안감을 조성하고 있다.이용자들의 주의와 자제가 필요하다"며 "경찰은 이 같은 행위에 대해 엄정 수사할 방침"이라고 전했다.
