18일 서울중앙지법 형사항소4-1부(부장판사 양지정·엄철·이훈재)는 이날 특정범죄 가중처벌 등에 관한 법률 위반(도주치상) 등 혐의로 기소된 이 전 대위와 검찰의 항소를 기각했다.1심은 이 전 대위의 혐의 모두를 유죄로 판단하고 징역 1년6개월에 집행유예 3년을 선고했다.
