해외 진출 복합지원 센터로 '열린무역관' 개편

[서울=뉴시스]안경무 기자 = 산업통상자원부와 KOTRA(코트라)가 전 세계 82개국 127개 해외 사무실(무역관) 인프라를 중소·중견기업에 무료로 제공한다고 7일 밝혔다.

산업부의 '글로벌 수출원팀 코리아' 지원 정책에 따라,국가별 해외 출장과 진출 수요를 반영하여 일부 여행금지 국가(시리아,afc 챔피언스리그레바논)를 제외한 모든 무역관을 개방한다.인프라 규모는 면적 기준 4725㎡(약 1430평)으로 1537개의 좌석을 동시에 이용할 수 있다.

이번 조치를 통해 기업들은 해외 출장지에서 업무뿐만 아니라 바이어 상담,afc 챔피언스리그일부 세미나실이 있는 곳에서는 로드쇼와 쇼케이스 등 마케팅 행사 개최까지도 한 장소에서 해결할 수 있다.

특히 해외 무역관 개방은 치안 문제로 사무공간을 찾기 어려운 국가에서 큰 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.여행금지 국가인 이라크와 우크라이나의 무역관도 정부의 출장 허가를 받은 기업에 개방하기로 했다.

코트라 인프라 제공 서비스는‘열린무역관’이라는 이름으로 추진 중으로 시설 고도화를 위한 투자도 지속하고 있다.

2018년 수출기업의 출장이 많은 하노이와 자카르타 등 6개 무역관을 시작으로 현재까지 총 12개 무역관에 별도 사무공간을 구축하고 인테리어 공사를 마쳤다.올해는 실리콘밸리,두바이,afc 챔피언스리그싱가포르 등 8개 도시를 추가해 위워크와 같은 공유형 사무공간을 조성할 계획이다.

열린무역관 신청은 코트라 홈페이지에서 연중 상시 가능하며,희망 날짜와 시간을 선택할 수 있다.

또한,시설 고도화를 통해 공유형 사무공간과 회의실이 마련된 20여 개 무역관에 대해서는 올해 처음으로 행정안전부‘공유누리(대국민 공공개방자원 공유서비스 포털)’에서도 신청할 수 있도록 해 편의성을 높일 계획이다．
