25일 오전 합동 현장감식 예정경기 화성시 일차전지 업체인 아리셀 공장에서 발생한 화재가 22시간여 만에 완전히 진화됐다.

경기도소방재난본부는 25일 오전 8시48분 아리셀 공장 화재 진화 작업을 마쳤다고 밝혔다.다만 현장에서 실종자를 찾기 위한 수색은 이틀째 지속되고 있다.소방당국은 조명 등이 설치된 조연 차량 3대를 화재 현장 인근에 세워두고 연락이 두절된 1명을 찾기 위해 밤샘 수색 작업을 진행했다.소방당국은 인원 100여명과 구조견 두 마리를 투입해 실종자를 찾을 때까지 수색을 지속할 방침이다.

앞서 화재 현장에 내려졌던 비상 발령은 이날 0시42분부로 해제됐다.경기도소방재난본부는 전날 오전 10시40분께 대응 1단계(3∼7개 소방서에서 31∼50대의 장비를 동원하는 경보령)를 발령했고,오나라 야구오전 10시54분께 비상 발령을 대응 2단계(8∼14개 소방서에서 51∼80대의 장비를 동원하는 경보령)로 확대했다.

앞서 아리셀 공장 3동 2층에서 전날 오전 10시31분 불이 나 근로자 22명이 숨졌다.사망자 22명 중 20명은 외국인으로 중국 국적 18명,라오스 국적 1명,미상 1명,오나라 야구내국인 2명으로 확인됐다.사망자의 대부분은 건물 3동 2층의 발화 지점과 이어지는 작업장에서 모여 있는 상태로 발견됐다.피해자 대부분이 일용직 노동자로 내부 구조에 낯선 점이 피해 규모를 키웠다.

경기남부경찰청 화성 아리셀 공장 화재 사건 수사본부는 화재 원인 규명을 위해 소방당국,국립과학수사연구원,오나라 야구국토안전원,고용노동부,산업안전관리공단 등과 함께 이날 오전 10시30분부터 합동 감식을 진행한다.
