(안동=연합뉴스) 김선형 기자 = 경북도는 16일 여성 경력 단절을 해소하고 자녀 온종일 돌봄을 정착하기 위해 '일자리편의점 1호점'을 구미시에 구축한다.

일자리편의점은 일하는 부모에게 온종일 돌봄을 제공하는 제도로,부모는 공공기관이나 기업에서 최소 하루 또는 최대 3개월짜리 단기 일자리를 제공받게 된다.

일본 지방자치단체 중 출산율 1위인 오카야마현 나기초가 운영 중인 일자리편의점 사업에서 착안한 제도로,롯데글로벌로지스편의점이 지닌 단어 뜻 그대로 물건을 사듯 간편하게 단기 아르바이트를 구할 수 있다는 의미다.

일자리는 우편물 작업,롯데글로벌로지스민원 안내,행정사무,매장관리,직업상담,사회 복지 등 다양한 분야로 마련했다.

출산이나 육아휴직자를 대체하는 인력,롯데글로벌로지스소규모 사업장에 단기간 필요한 인력을 지원하는 방식으로 추진된다.

일자리편의점에서 부모가 일하는 동안 자녀는 24시간 언제나 어린이집이나 돌봄 센터에서 맡아 준다.

도는 오는 17일 일자리편의점 1호점인 구미지점 운영을 위해 구미시,롯데글로벌로지스구미상공회의소,어린이집 연합회 등과 업무협약을 한다.

1호점인 구미지점을 시작으로 도내 22개 시·군으로 일자리편의점을 확대할 방침이다.

사업비는 도와 각 기초자치단체 5대 5 구성으로 편성했다.

이철우 경북도지사는 "임신과 출산으로 경력을 포기하는 사회가 아니라 아이를 낳고 키우는 행복을 느끼는 동시에 본인 경력을 키워나갈 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다"라고 말했다.
