(서울=뉴스1) 서장원 기자 = 디지털플랫폼정부위원회와 과학기술정보통신부가 한국지능정보사회진흥원과 함께 2024년 초거대 인공지능(AI) 공공 서비스 개발 사업을 본격 추진한다고 15일 밝혔다.

초거대 AI 서비스 개발 지원 사업은 공공부문의 AI 활용과 디지털플랫폼정부 실현을 가속하기 위한 사업이다.지난해 4억 원 규모의 예산을 올해 77억 원으로 대폭 확대했다.

올해는 더욱 다양한 공공분야에서 AI 활용 서비스가 창출될 수 있도록 '공공 범용','공공 특화',군주 카지노 무료 플레이'현안 해결' 등 3개 분야로 구분했다.아울러 AI 근로감독관,스마트 소방 안전,장애인 의사소통 지원 등 총 8개 과제를 선정해 서비스 개발을 지원한다.

이날 디플정위와 과기정통부는 고진 위원장 주재로 서울소방재난본부,고용노동부,특허청,군주 카지노 무료 플레이농촌진흥청,국방부,경제인문사회연구회 등 과제 수요 부처‧기관 및 AI 공급 기업들과 함께 '초거대 AI 서비스 개발 지원 통합 협약식'을 개최하고 8개 과제별로 구체적인 사업 목표와 수행 방안을 점검했다.

고 위원장은 "협약을 체결한 8개 과제 모두 공공부문 AI 서비스의 모범 사례가 될 수 있도록 최선을 다해주길 바란다"고 당부했다.

이종호 과기정통부 장관은 "이번 사업을 통해 공공영역에 초거대 AI를 적극 도입하고 국산 초거대 AI 모델의 활용 역량을 강화함으로써 우리나라가 AI G3 수준으로 도약하는 계기가 될 것"이라고 말했다.
