데브시스터즈 관계자는 "쿠키런: 모험의 탑이 200만 다운로드·누적 매출 100억 원을 돌파하며 흥행하고 있다"며 "출시 당일 국내 양대 마켓 인기 1위에 오르고 미국·캐나다·대만·태국 등 주요 시장에서 앱스토어 인기 1위에 올랐다"고 말했다.

이어 "최대 매출 지역은 한국·미국·대만·태국 등으로 비즈니스 모델(BM·과금구조)이 무겁지 않은 캐주얼 게임인데 누적 매출 100억 원 기록은 고무적"이라며 "흥행 요인은 '쿠키런' IP(지식재산권) 파워와 독창적인 게임성이 꼽힌다"고 전했다.
