[서울=뉴시스]김래현 기자 = 법무부는 28일 헌법이 입법 절차 중 하나로 법률안에 관한 대통령의 재의요구권을 규정하고 있는 만큼 거부권은 부정확한 표현이라는 입장을 밝혔다.

법무부는 "언론 기사에서 대통령 거부권과 재의요구권이라는 용어가 혼재돼 사용되고 있다"며 "대한민국 헌법에는 대통령의 법률안에 대한 거부권이라는 용어는 없고,일본 영화 종이달 결말재의요구권만 있을 뿐이다"고 했다.

그러면서 "거부권이라는 용어가 헌법이 규정하고 있는 적법한 입법 절차인 재의요구권에 대해 자칫 부정적인 어감을 더할 수 있는 측면이 있다"고 덧붙였다.

법무부 관계자는 "용어가 혼재돼 사용되고 있어 한 번 정리할 필요가 있다고 봤다"고 말했다．
