고대 안암·구로·안산병원 교수들로 구성된 고려대 의대 교수 비상대책위원회(이하 비대위)는 1일 입장문을 내고 "12일부터 무기한 자율 휴진에 돌입하겠다"며 "의료 사태로 인한 의료인들의 누적된 과로를 피하고,무료 슬롯 게임 아이폰환자 안전을 지키기 위한 것"이라고 밝혔다.

이들은 "응급·중증 환자를 제외한 일반 진료 환자들을 대상으로 휴진에 들어갈 예정"이라며 "가장 힘없는 학생과 전공의를 억압하며 전공의와 적극적인 대화를 시도하지 않는 상황을 묵과할 수 없다"고 지적했다.

앞서 의대 증원 등 정부-의료계 갈등과 관련해 국내 주요 대학병원 소속 교수들이 잇따라 무기한 휴진을 선언하고 있다.

세브란스병원은 이미 지난 6월 27일부터 휴진에 들어갔으며 서울아산병원은 오는 4일부터 '일주일 휴진'을 예고했다.서울대병원은 지난달 17일부터 21일까지 일주일여 간 휴진했다.
