송도 첨단산업클러스터C 부지에 바이오 의약 연구·개발·제조 시설 건립

유정복 인천광역시장은 3일 "롯데바이오로직스의 송도 바이오 캠퍼스는 인천을 넘어 전 세계의 바이오 산업을 견인하는데 핵심 앵커 시설이 될 것"이라고 밝혔다.

인천경제자유구역청에 따르면 이날 송도국제도시 첨단 산업 클러스터C부지(11공구)에서는 롯데바이오로직스 바이오 캠퍼스 착공식이 열렸다.

착공식에는 유 시장과 황효진 글로벌도시정무부시장,치킨집 야구윤원석 경제청장,치킨집 야구정일영 국회의원,치킨집 야구강경성 산업부 차관,치킨집 야구박민수 복지부 차관 등이 참석했다.

롯데 측에서는 신동빈 롯데그룹 회장과 이원직 롯데바이오로직스 대표이사 및 관계자 등이 함께했다.

롯데바이오로직스는 오는 2030년까지 약 4조6000억원을 투자해 글로벌 수준의 바이오 의약품 제조 시설을 갖출 예정이다.송도 부지는 20만2285㎡ 규모로 생산 공장 3기(총 36만 리터)를 건립·운영할 계획이다.

1공장(12만리터)의 경우 세포 주 개발부터 완제품 생산까지 가능한 것으로 나타났다.임상 물질 생산을 위한 소규모 배양기 및 완제 의약품 시설도 추가된다.

이들 공장은 에너지 절감·재활용을 위한 설비 투자로 공조 냉방 50%,난방 70% 이상 열 재활용이 가능한 것으로 알려졌다.롯데바이오로직스 송도 바이오 캠퍼스는 지난 3월 착공 준비를 마친 가운데 오는 2027년 상업 생산이 목표다.

유 시장은 "롯데의 과감한 투자와 동반 성장의 노력들이 글로벌 시장에서 빛을 발할 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다"고 말했다.
