"복귀 소수 그칠 것" 우려…요지부동 전공의들

전공의 최종 사직 처리 마감이 하루 앞으로 다가온 가운데 다섯 달째 병원을 밖에 있는 전공의들이 얼마나 복귀할지에 관심이 쏠리고 있습니다.

현재까지 수련병원으로 복귀하는 전공의(인턴,토토 잃은돈레지던트)는 거의 없는 상황인 만큼 대형병원의 의료공백이 당분간 이어질 가능성도 커졌다는 분석이 나옵니다.

14일 의료계에 따르면 전국 수련병원 221곳 대부분은 지난 주 전공의들에게 문자메시지 등으로 "15일까지 복귀와 사직 중에서 결정해 달라.거취를 밝히지 않는 경우 사직처리하겠다"라고 공지했습니다.

하지만 지난 11일 기준으로 출근한 전공의는 전체의 8%(1094명)에 불과합니다.

정부가 지난달 4일 전공의 사직서 수리 허용 방침을 밝힌 뒤 사직을 택한 전공의 역시 레지던트 기준으로 69명 뿐입니다.

의료계에선 11일 기준으로 미복귀한 전공의 1만2천662명 중 대부분이 결국 수련병원을 떠날 것으로 보고 있습니다.

전공의들은 정부 방침대로‘6월 4일 이후’에 사직처리될 경우 올해 2월 이후 병원 이탈에 대한 법적 책임에서 자유로울 수 없다며 반발하고 있습니다.

또 올해 9월에 복귀하는 전공의에게만 '사직 후 1년 내 동일 연차·전공으로 복귀할 수 없다'는 수련규정 제한을 풀어주는 것 역시 "미복귀 전공의들을 갈라치기 하려는 시도"라고 보고 있습니다.

다만 막판에 5대 대형병원 인기과 위주로 전공의들이 다소 복귀할 수 있다는 관측도 나오고 있습니다.

한 대형병원 관계자는 "피부과나 성형외과,토토 잃은돈재활의학과 등 소위 인기과에선 지금 안 돌아가면 9월 결원 충원 때 자리를 빼앗길 수 있다는 우려가 있다"라고 전했습니다.
