(서울=연합뉴스) 한주홍 기자 = 정부가 친일파 이기용(1889~1961)의 후손이 물려받은 토지에 대해 2억원대 부당이득금을 내놓으라고 소송을 내 2심에서도 승소했다.

서울고법 민사8-3부(최승원 김태호 김봉원 부장판사)는 11일 정부가 이기용의 후손 이모씨 등 2명을 상대로 낸 부당이득금 반환 소송 항소심에서 1심과 같이 원고승소 판결했다.

재판부는 두 사람이 각각 1억470여만원,홍콩 주식 여자 라인총 2억900여만원을 정부에 반환하라고 판단했다.

소송 대상이 된 토지는 경기 남양주시 이패동 2필지로,홍콩 주식 여자 라인이기용 후손이 소유했다가 현재는 남양주시로 소유권이 이전됐다.

정부는 이기용 후손이 남양주시에 토지를 이전했을 당시 받았던 보상금을 기준으로 부당이득금을 산정했다.

이기용은 1910년 한일병합조약 체결 후 일제로부터 자작 지위를 받았고,홍콩 주식 여자 라인이후 일제 의회의 상원인 귀족원 의원으로 뽑히기도 했다.

그는 친일반민족행위진상규명위원회가 2009년 발표한 친일반민족행위자 명단에 포함됐다.

정부는 친일반민족행위자재산의 국가귀속에 관한 특별법에 따라 2021년 이기용·이규원·홍승목·이해승 등 친일 행위자 4명의 후손이 소유한 땅 11필지의 국가 귀속을 위해 부당이익반환 청구 소송을 제기했다.
