민간 사전청약 당첨자도 다른 아파트 단지에 중복청약을 할 수 있게 될 예정이다.

국토교통부는 민간 사전청약 당첨자도 다른 단지에 청약할 수 있도록 '주택공급에 관한 규칙'을 개정할 예정이라고 16일 밝혔다.이르면 오는 9월부터 적용될 것으로 보인다.

현재 한국토지주택공사(LH)와 서울주택도시공사(SH) 등이 공급하는 공공 사전청약 당첨자는 다른 아파트 단지에 중복청약이 가능하다.반면 민간이 공급하는 사전청약 당첨자는 중복청약이 제한돼 있다.

그러나 최근 사전청약에 당첨되고도 본청약이 미뤄지는 등 사업 자체가 취소되는 일이 발생하면서 당첨자가 피해를 보자 국토부가 이런 문제를 막겠다고 나선 것이다.

국토부는 지난 4월 말부터 중복청약이 가능하도록 하는 내용의 주택공급에 관한 규칙 개정을 추진해왔다.입법예고는 다음 주에 예정된 것으로 알려졌다.

공공 분야에서 민간 분야까지 확대하게 되면 민간 사전청약 단지 가운데 아직 본청약을 하지 않은 24곳의 당첨자 1만2827명이 오는 9월부터 다른 아파트에 청약을 할 수 있게 된다.
