[헤럴드경제=이용경 기자] 경찰이 학업 스트레스와 우울증 등으로 건물 옥상에 올라 투신하려던 여학생을 극적으로 구조했다.

서울 관악경찰서는 지난 5일 오후 6시께 서울 봉천동에 있는 10층 건물 옥상에서 투신시도를 하려던 10대 여학생 A씨를 구조했다고 9일 밝혔다.

관악경찰서 낙성대지구대는 오후 5시 54분께‘건물 난간에 여자가 앉아 있다’는 신고를 접수한 뒤 2분 만에 현장에 도착,뉴잉글랜드 패트리어츠난간에 위태롭게 앉아 있는 A씨를 구조했다.

당시 경찰은 위급한 상황에서 대화를 거부하는 A씨의 시선을 피해 조심스럽게 뒤쪽으로 다가간 뒤 끌어안는 방법으로 A씨를 구조한 것으로 전해졌다.경찰은 당시 A씨를 진정시킨 뒤 부모에게 안전하게 인계했다고 밝혔다.
