KB인재양성은 KB국민은행 대표사회공헌사업 'KB Dream Wave 2030'의 일환으로 학업과 예체능 분야에서 꿈을 이루기 위해 노력하는 청소년에게 장학금을 지원하는 사회공헌 프로그램이다.2016년부터 현재까지 4150여명의 청소년에게 장학금을 지원했다.

이날 서울 영등포구 여의도에 위치한 KB국민은행 신관에서 열린 전달식에는 300여명의 장학생들이 온·오프라인으로 참석했다.행사에서는 프로그램 소개와 △서울 소재 상위권 대학교 입학 △전국 학생 미술실기 대회 수상 △MMA 아마추어 대회 우승 등 과거 수혜자들의 우수 사례 안내가 진행됐다.

KB국민은행은 학생들이 직접 작성한 성장 계획서를 토대로 장학생을 선발했다.선발된 인원에게 분기별 장학금을 지급한다.우수 장학생에게는 추가 장학금도 지원할 예정이다.

KB국민은행 관계자는 "이번 프로그램이 청소년들의 꿈과 희망을 이루는 데 실질적인 도움이 되기를 바란다"며 "앞으로도 미래 주역인 청소년들의 건강한 성장을 위해 다양한 지원을 꾸준히 실천하겠다"고 말했다.
