송영길 소나무당 대표에 대한 허위 성매매 의혹을 언급한 유튜브 채널 가로세로연구소(가세연)와 출연진이 송 대표에게 1천만원을 배상하라는 법원 판단이 나왔다.

법조계에 따르면 서울중앙지법 민사합의25부(송승우 부장판사)는 28일 송 대표가 가세연과 김세의 가세연 대표,서면 레벨스강용석 변호사를 상대로 낸 소송에서 "피고들은 공동해 원고에게 1천만원을 지급하라"며 원고 일부승소로 판결했다.

다만 재판부는 구체적인 판결 이유를 설명하지는 않았다.

가세연은 2021년 12월 말 과거 대법원에서 허위사실로 판단된 송 대표의 성매매 의혹을 다시 들추는 영상을 올렸다.김 대표와 강 변호사가 영상에 출연했다.

송 대표는 영상이 자신에 대한 모욕적 허위사실을 담고 있다며 7억원 상당의 손해배상 청구 소송을 내고 영상물 게재 금지 가처분도 신청했다.

2022년 3월 가처분 재판부는 영상이 이미 삭제됐다는 이유로 신청을 기각했으나 방송 내용이 허위라고 인정했다.

한편,서면 레벨스2021년 더불어민주당 전당대회 돈봉투 의혹의 정점으로 지목돼 구속 상태로 재판받아온 송 대표는 지난달 30일 법원의 보석 허가로 풀려났다.

재판부는 보석보증금으로 3천만원(전액 보증보험)을 내라고 명령했다.재판 출석과 증거인멸,서면 레벨스외국 출국 등과 관련한 서약서도 제출하라고 했다.

아울러 재판부는 송 대표가 사건 관계자들과 어떤 방식으로든 만나거나 연락하지 말도록 했다.만약 사건 관계자들로부터 연락이 온다면 그 사실과 경위,내용에 대해 재판부에 즉시 알리도록 했다.

송 대표는 2021년 민주당 전당대회에서 총 6천650만원이 든 돈 봉투를 당 관계자에 살포하고 외곽조직인 사단법인 먹고사는문제 연구소를 통해 후원금 명목으로 불법 정치자금 총 7억6천300만원을 받은 데 관여한 혐의 등으로 지난 1월 구속기소됐다.
