실제로 2000년 의약분업 추진에 반발한 의협 차원의 집단휴진 사태가 벌어졌을 때 당시 의협 회장은 공정거래법과 의료법 위반으로 유죄 판결을 받아 면허가 취소됐습니다.

공정위 관계자는 "의협 등의 사업자 단체가 구성사업자에게 휴진을 강제하는 경우 공정거래법 위반에 해당하므로 법 위반 여부를 적극 검토하는 중"이라고 밝혔습니다.
