[헤럴드경제=박지영 기자]이른바‘서울대 N번방’사건 공범으로 지목된 20대에게 검찰이 징역 10년을 구형했다.

서울중앙지법 형사14단독 김유랑 부장판사는 28일 성폭력처벌법상 상습허위영상물편집·반포 등 혐의로 기소된 박모씨에 대한 첫 공판을 열었다.박 씨는 2020년 7월부터 지난 4월까지 허위영상물 400개를 제작하고,2024년4월13일 포틀랜드 트레일 블레이저스 휴스턴 로케츠1700여개를 유포한 혐의를 받는다.

박 씨는 서울대 졸업생들이 대학 동문 여성 등을 대상으로 음란물을 만들어 유포한‘서울대 N번방’공범이다.그는 서울대 N번방 사건의 주범인 서울대 출신 박모(40·구속기소)씨에게 온라인 메신저로 연락해 함께 여성 수십명을 대상으로 음란물을 만들어 유포한 것으로 조사됐다.20대 박씨는 서울대 졸업생은 아닌 것으로 파악됐다.

박씨의 첫 공판이었으나 그가 혐의를 모두 인정함에 따라 변론이 종결됐다.선고일은 내달 24일로 잡혔다.검찰은 “피해자가 다수고 죄질이 극히 불량하다”며 징역 10년을 구형했다.

박씨는 최후 진술에서 “고통받은 피해자들에게 사죄드리고,2024년4월13일 포틀랜드 트레일 블레이저스 휴스턴 로케츠현재 합의를 진행 중”이라며 선처를 호소했다.
