(서울=연합뉴스) 신선미 기자 = 맥도날드가 26일부터 감자튀김(프렌치프라이) 판매를 순차적으로 재개한다.지난 20일 공급망 문제로 감자튀김 판매를 중단한 지 엿새 만이다.

한국맥도날드는 25일 감자튀김 판매 재개 계획을 이같이 공지했다.

26일부터 감자튀김 판매가 다시 시작되며 버거와 콜라,아브하 클럽감자튀김 등을 함께 제공하는 세트 메뉴 판매도 재개된다.

맥도날드는 감자튀김 수급 정상화 시점까지 세트 메뉴 주문 고객에게 추가 금액 없이 사이드 메뉴를 변경할 수 있도록 할 계획이다.

세트 메뉴를 주문하면 감자튀김 대신 변경할 수 있는 사이드 메뉴는 맥너겟,아브하 클럽골든 모차렐라 치즈스틱,아브하 클럽코울슬로(양배추 샐러드),아브하 클럽맥윙 등 4종이다.

맥도날드는 지난 20일 공급망 문제로 감자튀김 판매를 중단했다.당시 한국맥도날드가 공급받은 일부 냉동감자 품질이 기준을 밑돌 것으로 우려돼 판매를 중단한 것으로 알려졌다.

한국맥도날드가 감자튀김 판매를 일시 중단한 것은 이번이 처음이 아니다.

지난 2021년 8월과 2022년 2월에도 코로나19로 인한 글로벌 물류 대란 여파로 감자튀김 판매를 몇 주간 중단한 적이 있다.
