순국선열과 호국영령을 기리는 현충일인 오늘(6일),리뉴얼 토토부산의 한 아파트에 일본 군국주의의 상징인 욱일기가 내걸려 논란이 일고 있습니다.

이날 오전부터 부산 수영구의 한 주상복합건물 고층 창문에 욱일기가 내걸렸습니다.

주변을 오가는 많은 시민이 욱일기를 목격하고 공분하기도 했습니다.

한 시민은 "현충일에 전범기가 걸린 것을 봤는데 너무 충격받아서 손이 부들부들 떨린다"며 "저 건물에 매국노가 살고 있는지 모르겠다"고 말했습니다.

몇몇 인터넷 커뮤니티 게시판에도 이 건물의 욱일기 사진이 게시돼 네티즌들은 '진짜 선을 넘었네',리뉴얼 토토'제정신인가' 등의 제목으로 공분하는 내용을 담은 댓글이 올라왔습니다.

이 건물에는 지난달 중순부터 일장기가 여러 차례 걸렸던 것으로 전해졌습니다.

욱일기 처리를 두고 주상복합건물 관리사무소는 난감해하고 있습니다.

지난달부터 주변 민원 때문에 관계기관에 문의도 해봤지만,리뉴얼 토토입주민의 행위를 제재할 별다른 방법이 없었다고 사무소는 전했습니다.

일장기와 욱일기를 내건 입주민은 일본인이 아닌 한국인으로 알려졌습니다.
