4일 사회관계망서비스(SNS)에는‘묻지마 식빵 테러’라는 동영상이 확산했다.

이 동영상을 올린 A씨는 “강남역 카페에서 빵 귀싸대기를 맞았다”며 “칼이나 포크,내국인 카지노염산이었으면.”이라면서 당황했던 당시를 회상했다.

영상을 보면 카페 2층에 있던 여성 B씨가 계단을 내려와 1층에 있던 A씨에게 식빵을 두 차례 던진다.

모르는 여성에게 식빵으로 얼굴에 맞은 A씨는 황당해하며 일어서 뒤따라 나갔다가 다시 돌아온다.A씨는 B씨를 잡으러 나갔지만 달리기가 빨라 이미 찾기 어려운 상태였다고 밝혔다.

이 과정에서 경찰의 대응이 논란이 됐다.

A씨는 신고하려고 해당 카페에서 CCTV 영상을 얻어 경찰서를 찾아갔다고 한다.그런데 B씨가 모자를 쓰고 있어 얼굴도 안 보이고 CCTV로는 못 잡는다고 수사가 어렵다는 답변만 들었다고 했다.

A씨는 “경찰서 가서 진술서 쓰고 영상 보여줬는데 담당 형사분이‘얼굴도 안 나오고 CCTV로는 절대 못 잡는다’고 했다”며 “‘이거 말고도 중범죄 사건들이나 바쁜 일도 많으니 안 다쳤으면 그냥 가라’고 하더라.그래서 그냥 나왔다”고 전했다.
