내년에는 시간당 만 원 이상의 최저임금을 받게 됐습니다.

노동계와 경영계가 오늘 새벽,꽃빵 팬트리표결을 통해 결정했는데요.

조희원 기자가 보도합니다.

내년도 최저임금이 시간당 1만 30원으로 정해졌습니다.

최저임금위원회는 오늘 새벽 마라톤 협상 끝에 내년도 최저임금을 의결했습니다.

최저임금이 1만 원대로 들어선 건 제도가 도입된 지 37년 만입니다.

노동계는 2015년부터 최저임금 1만 원을 요구해왔지만 받아들여지지 않았습니다.

올해 5월 첫 협상을 시작할 때도 노동계는 1만 2천6백 원을 요구했지만,경영계는 9천8백60원 동결을 제시했습니다.

10차례 협상에서 양측의 견해 차는 9백 원까지 줄어들었습니다.

하지만 최종 합의안이 나오지 않자 공익위원들이 중재 구간을 제시했고,결국 경영계가 최종 제안한 1만 30원이 최저임금위원회의 표결을 거쳐 확정됐습니다.

'최저임금 1만 원 시대'의 문은 열었지만,꽃빵 팬트리인상폭은 물가상승률 2.6%보다 적습니다.

역대 인상률 중에서도 두 번째로 낮습니다.

민주노총은 "1.7% 인상은 저임금 노동자를 우롱하는 것"이라며 강하게 비판했습니다.

그러면서 임금 인상 투쟁에 나서겠다고 예고했습니다.

"한국사회의 극심한 불평등 양극화를 극복할 수 있게끔 일정하게 소득 분배 개선할 수 있는 방안으로 (인상안을) 제출하는 것이 필요하다고 생각합니다."

한국노총은 "아쉬운 결정이지만 받아들이겠다"고 밝혔습니다.

"마지막 호소와 시도를 저희들은 했다 이렇게 받아들여 주시면 될 것 같습니다."

경영계에서도 동결을 강하게 요구했던 영세 중소기업과 소상공인을 중심으로 반발이 불거질 가능성이 남아 있습니다.
