갑자기 지붕이 무너졌는데 천장을 뚫고 들어온 게 자동차였다면 무슨 상황일까요.

알고 보니,2018년 4월 11일 야구 경기일정주차빌딩에서 추락한 차량이 지붕을 덮친 거였습니다.

영업을 준비 중인 제주 시내의 한 식당.

갑자기 주방 쪽 천장이 무너지며 잔해물이 쏟아집니다.

천장을 뚫고 들어온 것은 부서진 한 차량의 앞 범퍼.

갑작스런 사고에 식당 주인은 그대로 주저앉았습니다.

"갑자기 '꽝'하는 소리가,2018년 4월 11일 야구 경기일정굉음소리가 나서 가스 폭발인가 해서 그런 생각으로 달려왔거든요.가게 안에 들어와 보니까 이렇게 보다시피 엉망인 채로 돼 있는 거고…"

오늘 아침 7시 20분쯤 제주시 용담동의 한 호텔 주차빌딩 2층에서 60대 여성이 몰던 SUV 차량이 맞은편 식당 지붕 위로 추락했습니다.

SUV 차량은 주차장 난간을 뚫고 영업을 준비하던 바로 옆 식당 주방을 덮쳤습니다.

이 사고로 팔 등을 다친 차량 운전자와,2018년 4월 11일 야구 경기일정사고에 크게 놀란 40대 식당 주인이 병원으로 옮겨졌습니다.

경찰은 운전자가 주차 빌딩 1층에서 2층으로 차를 몰다 추락한 것으로 보고 블랙박스와 CCTV 영상을 통해 사고 원인을 조사하고 있습니다.

음주운전을 하지 않은 것으로 확인된 운전자는 급발진으로 인한 사고였다고 주장하고 있습니다.

"멈췄어요.브레이크 밟았어요.그런데 차가 쭉 가더니 쫙 가버리더라고…그러니까 브레이크등이 계속 켜져 있는 상태에서 갔어."

전문가들은 사고가 난 주차 빌딩의 추락 방지시설이 역할을 제대로 했는지 조사할 필요가 있다며 설치 규정뿐 아니라 시설물 강도를 확인하는 구체적인 점검 기준이 필요하다고 지적했습니다.
