(서울=연합뉴스) 신선미 기자 = 배달의민족이 전통시장 상인의 온라인 진출을 돕기 위해 동반성장위원회,9월 21일 프로야구전국상인연합회와 손을 잡았다.

배달의민족 운영사 우아한형제들은 11일 송파구 본사에서 동반위,9월 21일 프로야구상인연합회와 '지역 사회 동반성장 문화 확산을 위한 상생 협약'을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

우아한형제들과 동반위,9월 21일 프로야구상인연합회는 전통시장 상인의 온라인 판로 진출 지원에 나선다.밀키트 등 전통시장 특화 상품 개발을 지원하고 근거리 배달 서비스를 구축하는 한편 디지털 교육을 실시할 예정이다.

전통시장 특화 상품 개발을 위해 전국 전통시장 중 지원 대상으로 세 곳을 선정할 계획이다.참여를 희망하는 시장은 이날부터 동반위 홈페이지에서 신청할 수 있다.

김중현 우아한형제들 가치경영실장은 "협약으로 지역 전통시장과 협력 체계가 마련됐다"며 "온라인에 익숙하지 않은 전통시장 상인들이 디지털 판로를 개척할 수 있도록 현실적인 지원 사업을 전개하겠다"고 말했다.

박치형 동반위 운영처장은 "협약을 통해 우아한형제들의 디지털 판매 상품 개발 노하우를 전통시장에 접목해 지역 경제 활성화를 지원하겠다"고 말했다.
