이 사업은 65세 이상 무주택·취약계층에게 임대주택과 사회복지시설을 복합한 형태의 서비스를 제공하는‘고령자 복지주택,파워볼 사이트 제작창업인,파워볼 사이트 제작중소기업 및 산업단지 근로자 등을 위한‘일자리연계형 지원주택,미혼청년 및 대학생 1~2인 가구에 복층·공유형 서비스를 제공하는‘청년 특화주택’등으로 나뉜다.
김진태 강원특별자치도지사는 “이번 사업은 고령자에게는 주거와 돌봄,일자리 계층에는 주거와 업무공간을 함께 제공하는 것으로,입주자분들은 일석이조의 혜택을 누리시게 될 것”이라 “공모사업 선정을 위해 함께 뛰어주신 유상범 국회의원님과 시군,파워볼 사이트 제작관계기관 분들께 감사드리며,앞으로도 지역소멸위기 극복에 도움이 되는 주거환경개선을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 현재 진행 중인 고령자복지주택사업은 도내 10개 시·군(춘천,원주,태백,동해,홍천,횡성,파워볼 사이트 제작영월,평창,화천,인제) 13곳(1,346호)이다.
