내년 1월 중순부터 대출 중도상환수수료가 낮아집니다.

금융위원회는 오늘(10일) 정례회의에서 중도상환수수료 부과 체계 개선을 위한 '금융소비자 보호에 관한 감독규정' 개정안을 의결했습니다.

중도상환수수료는 금융소비자 보호에 관한 법률에 따라 원칙적으로 부과가 금지되지만,소비자가 대출일부터 3년 이내에 상환하는 경우 예외적으로 부과할 수 있습니다.

그동안 금융권은 중도상환수수료에 대해 구체적인 산정기준을 따로 두지 않고 부과하고 있었습니다.

금융위원회는 이번 감독규정 개정을 통해 대출금 중도상환 시 자금운용 차질에 따른 손실 비용,귀여운 야구 캐릭터대출 관련 행정·모집비용 등 실비용 내에서만 중도상환수수료를 부과하도록 했습니다.

실비용 외에 다른 항목을 추가해 가산하면 금소법상 불공정 영업행위로 금지됩니다.

금융당국은 금융권과 함께 중도상환수수료 부과 체계 개선사항과 관련한 가이드라인을 마련하기로 했습니다.
