문화체육관광부는 다음 달 1일부터 출국납부금 부담금을 1만 원에서 7천 원으로 3천 원 인하하고,순천로또명당면제 대상도 2세 미만에서 12세 미만으로 확대한다고 오늘(28일) 밝혔습니다.

출국납부금 부담금은 국내 공항,순천로또명당항만을 통해 해외로 출국하는 내외국인을 대상으로 징수하는 부담금입니다.

관광수지 적자 해소와 국내 관광 인프라 구축 등 관광산업 진흥을 위해 지난 1997년 도입됐습니다.

문체부는 이번 개편을 통해 연간 4천7백만 명이 부담금 감면 혜택을 받을 걸로 예상했습니다.

출국납부금 부담금 인하는 다음 달 1일부터 출국하는 모든 내외국인에게 적용됩니다.

이미 항공권 예매를 완료하고,순천로또명당다음 달 1일 이후 출국하는 경우 문체부는 징수위탁사업자인 인천공항공사,순천로또명당한국공항공사와 협의를 거쳐 부담금 감경분을 돌려줄 계획입니다.

문체부 관계자는 "올해 4월부턴 출국납부금 징수위탁 수수료를 인하했다"며 "관광 분야에 대한 정부의 실질적인 지원 규모를 유지할 수 있도록 재정 당국과 협의할 방침"이라고 말했습니다.
