법원 로고 [연합뉴스] 이른바 '청담동 술자리' 의혹을 보도한 유튜브 매체에 대해 해당 의혹 속 장소로 지목된 음악 카페 업주이 제기한 손해배상 소송에서 법원이 유튜브 매체의 손을 들어주었다.

민사합의25부(송승우 부장판사)는 12일 음악 카페 업주 이모씨가 유튜브 매체 '시민언론 더탐사'를 상대로 제기한 손해배상 소송을 기각했다.

재판부는 법정에서 따로 선고 이유를 밝히지는 않았다.

청담동 술자리 의혹은 지난 2022년 7월 19~20일 윤석열 대통령과 국민의힘 한동훈 대표 후보(당시 법무부 장관)가 김앤장 법률사무소 소속 변호사 30여명과 함께 청담동 고급 술집에서 심야 술자리를 가졌다는 내용이다.

김의겸 전 의원은 같은 해 10월 국회 법제사법위원회 국정감사에서 해당 의혹을 제기하며 당시 술자리에 있었다는 첼리스트가 전 남자친구에게 해당 내용을 언급한 통화 내용을 공개했다.

이후 더탐사가 통화 내용을 담은 영상을 자사 유튜브 채널에 올리자 이씨는 영상 삭제와 함께 손해배상을 요구하는 소송을 냈다.
