오동운 고위공직자범죄수사처(공수처) 처장이 10일 신임 차장 후보로 검사 출신 이재승(50·사법연수원 30기) 법무법인 지평 변호사를 임명 제청했다.공수처법상 공수처 차장은 10년 경력 이상 법조인 중 처장의 제청으로 대통령이 임명한다.임기는 3년이다.처장을 보좌하며,부득이한 사유로 처장이 직무를 수행할 수 없을 때 처장 직무를 대행한다.

이 후보자는 2004년 인천지검 검사로 임관한 뒤 2020년까지 검찰에 재직했다.대검찰청 사이버수사과장을 거쳐 대구지검 형사3부와 서울서부지검 형사3부에서 부장검사를 맡는 등 주로 형사 부서에서 근무하며 조세·금융·강력·마약·성폭력 등 여러 분야의 수사와 공판 업무를 담당했다.서울서부지검 형사3부장 재직 당시 정경심 동양대 교수 등에 관한 허위사실을 유포한 혐의로 시민단체가 유시민 전 노무현재단 이사장을 고발한 사건을 수사했고,프리미어리그 알림장제원 전 국민의힘 의원의 아들인 래퍼 노엘(본명 장용준)이 음주운전 후 운전자 바꿔치기를 시도한 사건(도로교통법 위반 및 범인도피교사 등 혐의) 수사를 지휘해 재판에 넘겼다.2014년 명예훼손 분야에서 '블루벨트'(대검 공인전문검사 2급)를 인정받았다.
