공개SW 활용 및 전문교육 활성화 업무협약

[서울=뉴시스]심지혜 기자 = 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)은 건양대학교와 공개 소프트웨어(SW) 활용 및 전문 교육 활성화를 위한 업무 협약을 체결했다고 14일 밝혔다.

이번 업무협약을 통해 NIPA와 건양대는 ▲공개SW 활용·확산 등 활성화 협력 ▲공개SW 전문교육을 통한 공개 SW 개발자 양성 ▲공개SW 관련 정보기술 협력 등에서 협력한다.

NIPA는 오픈소스 생태계 활성화와 참여 촉진을 위해‘오픈소스 컨트리뷰션 아카데미’를 운영하고 있다.이는 국내 오픈소스 개발자 멘토링을 통한 예비 오픈소스 개발자 양성을 위해 수준별·단계별 오픈소스 프로젝트 체험·참여 과정으로 구성돼 있다.

이번 협약식에는 NIPA 이경록 SW미래본부장,골든 스테이트건양대 김용석 AI·SW융합대학 학장,골든 스테이트백종섭 SW통합교육원 원장,골든 스테이트김준화 SW교육센터장 등이 참석했다.

이경록 SW미래본부장은 "우수한 인재를 조기에 발굴하고‘오픈소스 컨트리뷰션 아카데미’등 맞춤형 교육프로그램을 통해 미래 핵심 공개SW 인재 양성에 적극 나설 수 있게 됐다"며 "학생들이 해당 프로그램에 전념할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다"고 말했다.
